AOC is already looking ahead to 2028
The 2026 election cycle isn’t over yet, but one of the first shots of 2028 has been fired.
Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York released a memo highlighting her work to help elect Democrats over the last two years, citing them in the context of a possible run for the presidency in 2028.
“In the coming days and weeks, much will be discussed about the future of the Democratic Party and 2028. You may be asked whether you support her running for President or for Senate in New York or staying in the House of Representatives,” the memo says.
