and then BAM! because of these assholes, we are all dead.
We really need to get it together more as to what happens to assholes when they refuse to go along with the requirements during a true pandemic because eventually a REAL one much worse than covid-19 is going to come along.
For instance we should already have a vaccine passport system implemented in advance and tied to state or federal IDs. LAws should be on the books about what sort of masking is required when different levels are required and what the penalties and immediate remedies are when someone breaks that.
We should look at the covid pandemic as a bit of a dry run for what to do for something much worse.
(and I say this as someone who will probably never get a vaccine again)
