Elons has backed away for a mars agenda, because it's not happening within a human lifetime.
Realize all of it is about creating livable starcraft for the elites to escape the planet if there is a catastrophe.
As far as I'm concerned the elites can die wit the rest of us, or self fund their spaceships, and those TAXPAYER funds can go to healthcare and eldercare.

Why not focus on our problems here on planet Earth: feeding people, providing health care, peace, living sustainably, providing shelter, etc. That seems much more logical.
