We did all that stuff - including the vaccine - and it demonstrably didn't work. In large blue cities we did it for two years. Virtually everyone still got Covid.

Biden had hundreds of thousands more deaths than Trump despite those protocols. And later, Trump won the popular vote by 2.3 million despite the trope on social media (and CI) that mask and vaccine-reluctant right-wingers were dying in droves.
