Few reason, speaking as an East Asian living in America. Please note my answer excludes Arabians and people of Central Asia descent. I don’t know anyone from these origins so I can’t speak on behalf of them.

    Asian cultures typically encourage and prefers a whole family unit to stay together, even when you’re a grown adult, sometimes even married.(this include Asians from the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia too)

    Asians are on average, significantly wealthier than the population average. If you have money, you probably can afford a house, or at least rent one out. Im not going into why that is as it is a highly debated topic and it can get very sensitive. (Again, this include Asians from the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia too)

    Most importantly, drug use is despised with Asians. Especially for East Asians and especially for Chinese people (which makes up a large portion of Asians in the U.S.). culturally speaking drug users are seen as the lowest of the low and it is extremely shameful to be one. If you sell drugs, you’re basically seen as an extremely violent criminal that you wouldn’t associate with a six feet pole. And drug use is a primary reason why people end up being homeless.

        Update: I didn’t know saying drug use causing homeless is a controversial topic, but I think the truth is much more nuanced. Point is, drugs bad, don’t use them, and they make homelessness worse.

        Update: abuse of Addrall-like prescription drugs is an exception. Thats a whole another loaded conversation I’m not going to get into it, but yes the problem exists in the Asian community too because it helps with good grades. My two cents is, at least from my ethnic background, mental illness is a very taboo thing and very under diagnosed, so it could be people are just serendipitously medicating themselves using Adderall. I’ve heard it doesn’t work on people without ADHD.

    4. A lot of Asian are here in America to make a living. If they can’t do that, they have a place to go back to. A lot of Asian still owns properties in their country of origin. I’ve heard of it mentioned in the sense that we have a free “TP scroll.” Obviously this is for your first gen/second gen immigrants. It’s very unlikely this is true if you’re like a 5th gen American, you probably don’t have a random place in another country where you can just go back to, in times of dire needs.

    I should add that it's not that Asian homeless people don't exist. Obviously they do and they face a whole set of unique challenges. Purely looking at your chance of encountering one from statistics. Even if you assume homelessness and the population of the United States follows the same distribution, then you have a 7.7% chance of meeting one (including Asian in combination with another race). Asian families also don’t tell their kids they’re precious little white snowflakes who should never feel a nanosecond of discomfort and if anybody makes them feel bad it’s the other person’s fault and they deserve a settlement from the Trump weaponization fund.
