I'm sure it's partially due to the trust score system which disproportionately gates new users.  You have to wait 5 minutes each time you want to make a post, for your first several posts.

Don't think so.

Earlier this year we were heading toward higher totals in 2026 than in 202.

Since that time, the trust score system has been relaxed.

I am not smart enough to understand what "It is time-gated, not post-gated" means. I'll admit to using the word "gated" earlier to try and sound smarter than I am.

Regardless, every time i post without a cookie it makes me wait 5 minutes first, even for subsequent posts using the same cookie.

The system is working as designed. There is not a delay for every post.

There is a delay on the first post and then at intervals of time after.

Since you are an admin, you can look at the profile for a dot and see some of the details.
