Christa Gail Pike is an American convicted murderer who is incarcerated on death row in Tennessee. In 1995, when she was 18, Pike murdered her 19-year-old Job Corps classmate Colleen Slemmer in Knoxville. Pike and two friends led Slemmer into the woods, where they tortured and killed her.
Chrita deserves life in prison but I am against the death penalty.
There have been innocent people executed in the United States.

A man who spent 41 years on death row in the US after being convicted of killing a woman has been released on bail after prosecutors said newly analysed DNA evidence did not link him to the crime.
Douglas Stewart Carter, who is now 71, was jailed for the killing of Eva Olesen in Utah in 1985.
He was sentenced to death but always maintained his innocence, stating that a signed confession was coerced.
The state Supreme Court ordered a new trial last year, citing misconduct by investigators, and a judge bailed Carter on Monday despite objections from the victim's family. He is required to wear a GPS monitor while on bail.
Olesen, the aunt of a local police chief, was stabbed multiple times and then shot in the back of her head at her home in Provo, Utah, in February 1985.

It's not fair that she's getting death while her co conspirator bf got life in jail. He wasn’t that much younger or emotionally developed, and could have kept her from doing it or warned the girl. To me, he is more culpable; he drove a stupid woman to brutally murder someone. She chose to do that, but he participated.

DNA doesnt exonerate unless it was the basis of conviction. If the DNA doesn't match that raises doubt.

Nobody should be in prison for this long. If there's a chance at reform, there are options for that outside of jail. Otherwise, unless you're politically valuable you should be necked.
