My stepdad voted for Trump in 2016. He has cancer too and I posted about him (he's doing great and has an appointment with the oncologist Thursday). Anyway since 2016 he changed his mind and now hates Trump and thinks he's a scumbag.
My question is, knowing all that you do about cancer and all that you went through, how can you support removing care and treatment from other people with cancer? Don't you feel bad at all?
To me this is enough reason NOT to support Trump regardless of all the other reasons. It's sick that eight year olds die from treatable conditions because of the healthcare situation in this country.
If we can't even take care of our own people, do we even really have a country? To me, that makes us a bunch of barbarians.

I've never had Cancer (yet) but have had a close call and suffer from a disease which is very near to it and am technically in remission (there is no cure). It could come back tomorrow and put me in the ER, in theory. I recall all the anxiety and the worry about how much it all costs. Hoping that your insurer will cover everything or that you won't get a surprise bill for $80,000.
It just seems so mean spirited and absolutely sick to me to cut people's health care knowing they are real people going through all this and FIGHTING for their lives.
I just don't see how anyone who went through all this stuff themselves could ever support it.
Even John McCain had the guts to stand up when they wanted to repeal the ACA. He had brain cancer and he knew how much doing that would effect others who went through what he did. And with that act he probably did save thousands of people too.
I'm sorry man but giving our people health care comes before worrying about the Trannies using the women's restroom or playing tennis.

He was lucky so far. I think you know how that goes. But all that hate...it isn't good for you. Not at all.
There's no politics really. People suffering from diseases like Cancer deserve treatment. Period. Not providing it makes our nation a disgrace.
