The White House held a summer contest to see who could appear in the most congressional districts and states with competitive midterm elections.
Nearly every day, White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles meets with Meghan Bauer, a presidential assistant who coordinates with Cabinet members, to review who’s recently traveled where, who’s heading out into the country, and—perhaps most important—who’s in a swing district at that very moment. The debrief is part of the administration’s unofficial Cabinet Travel Competition, overseen by Bauer, in which the White House encourages Cabinet secretaries to traverse the country to promote President Trump’s agenda and tracks their visits to politically competitive congressional districts or states ahead of the midterm elections.
We first found out about the competition when chatting with a Cabinet secretary about an event that person had declined to attend in Manhattan, in part for fear of being docked points in the White House contest for going to a solidly blue area. (Several White House officials said that no one ever loses points, and two added that a trip to New York for a cable-news hit praising the administration’s policies, for instance, would still count toward the contest.)

SockpuppetThat sound illegal. Basically instructing government employees to go find government work in certain districts just for political reasons and not because they otherwise need to perform government work in that district.

We'd be naive to think that most (if not all) politicians are doing this considering people get into politics to have power. If they have documentation then they're busted. However, I know the left and this is a 6 alarm fire. It's going to bring our nation to its knees. Civil war is just around the corner.
Whatever.

Doug, I am weighing whether I should waste my time providing you with a legitimate response or not.
I’ll let you know what I decide.

I don't care.
Your opinion of my opinion means virtually nothing to me.

It's not a six alarm fire, just a story that shows how the Trump administration does politics - and the importance they're putting on the midterm elections.

If it is not a precursor to civil war then why discuss it?
The American public has been inured to apocalyptic scandals. I would post the "The boy who cried wolf" story but it's just pearls before swine.
