Plus they’re already pre-selling capacity on a massive TMX pipeline expansion to BC so they can sell the rest of their oil direct to Asia at substantially higher prices than they get in the U.S.

NOPE.   BC has the authority TO BLOCK dirty oil from the east from entering pristine BC for ANY PURPOSE.   And they do.  This makes selling plains provinces oil through BC impossible.   

Remember, the BC Premier has also threatened that he will use his authority to BLOCK AT HIS COMMAND, Canadian power to New York City.    We don't think so.

Tom was born weak. You know the type. You knew them in school. They just were born that way. Something off about them. Sensitive. Defensive. Braggadocios. Not easy to like. His mom, of course, loved him anyway. She coddled him and let him get away with a lot with limited correction. First, it further coddled and protected him. He knew daddy could, and would, get him out of any trouble he got into such as the time Tom had an outburst on a SF city bus where he called an older Black lady by the N word. Second, as Tom aged, he was able to use the wealth of his family to attract people to him even if they didn’t like him because they thought maybe they could get something from him. But that would all shake out later.

The only way that we know that Tom’s dad loved him was the fact that he spent an enormous sum to send Tom to high school in Canada to avoid the Vietnam War draft. Of course, a child of 14 can’t be drafted, but Tom’s father was smart. He knew that sending his kid to Canada at 14 would provide an advantage to remaining in the country if that was required past age 18 whereas sending him off right at 18 would be suspect or illegal. High school was a terror for Tom. Every aspect of his earlier school years emerged again and worse. And since he primarily attended school with other children of the wealthy, his money could not attract sycophants like it one day would.

Tom’s dad died around the same time Tom completed high school. He was never able to earn his father’s respect. Everything later stems from that. All the lies. All the posturing. All the bullshyt. The failed vanity business attempts. The replication of his dad’s favorite meals (prime rib, lamb chops, etc.) The vast claims of achievement while all evidence shows a total lack of achievement. To know where Tom stood in the family you only need to know one thing: Tom’s dad left the business to his wife and his wife left it to her daughter. Tom was never allowed to materially participate.

But Tom made progress in life anyway. But he did it through buying friends and attention. He never learned any lessons because he was bailed out too many times by mom and dad. This eventually even led to his cancer. He just knew better than what everyone else told him. He was sure smoking wouldn’t cause *HIM* cancer. Tom had the best run of his life after the end of high school and into the late 20th century.

All of that came crashing down again when the Internet emerged. Tom went online and was immediately exposed for the loser he had been since birth. This created new, and much deeper, trauma for him. His money could not buy him out of online abuse. His failing were laid bare by his constant need to brag. He’d be challenged. He’d be totally delusional about what his accomplishments actually were. He’d share evidence of those accomplishments. And he would be mocked mercilessly for being so deluded.

This has continued for 25+ years. Tom is totally lost now. Lost to the self-inflicted brain-washing by hate radio. Lost to his mental illness an dementia. Lost to his choices to smoke, drink, eat poorly, and ignore medical advice. He even ignored medical advice to get a colonoscopy.

As for the success? Tom has wasted 90% of the wealth he inherited. We know this indirectly. Tom showed us a home that his father once considered purchasing for his family. It had a recent sale price of about $5M. Tom, on the other hand, was only able to afford a home that cost $450k.

He gave himself a half dozen cancers, was in a coma for a month, nearly died, has had more surgeries than cancers, been – and still is – on multiple rounds of chemo, looks emaciated, walks with a limp, and sometimes uses a cane. Despite all of that he still refused to do what almost everyone does when they face death: reflect on one’s own life and behavior and try to do better in the time they have left. In fact, he has done the opposite. Since his cancer diagnosis he has become worse in every possible way.

Tom is, literally, one of the most offensive people alive that hasn’t committed a violent felony.

He was born a loser. And he remains one today. Period.
