Re: Any Opinions On The Chiappa Rhino?

AI Overview
Old Model Ruger Blackhawk Review ...Yes, the Ruger Blackhawk is widely considered an exceptionally good, tough, and reliable single-action revolver.

Key Pros
Extremely Strong: Built like a tank, modern Ruger Blackhawks can safely handle heavy-duty, high-pressure handloads that would shake older single-action designs apart

Great Value: They offer top-tier durability and accuracy at a price point that is very reasonable compared to custom or collector single-action revolvers

Versatility: Many models come as "Convertibles" (such as .357 Magnum / .38 Special with an extra 9mm cylinder, or .45 Colt with an extra .45 ACP cylinder), letting you shoot cheaper or different ammo.

Adjustable Sights: Unlike traditional fixed-sight cowboy guns, the Blackhawk features fully adjustable rear sights, making it practical for target shooting and hunting

Looks heavy. I'd rather a small accurate easy to control gun and shooting targets in the the head. As far as self defense goes. A heavy hit wont stop a psyched and drugged heavy guy. A noggin' pinpoint will. Otherwise id use a shotgun.
