Re: Hey Phil, have you seen this?

Judaism is a desert religion. Jews were originally from Saudi Arabia (the Exodus crap is mostly envy of a superior civilization). The New Testament is Greek.

Maybe pre-internet our monomaniacal poster would have found his favorite rabbit hole via mail or short wave radio from "Cristian Identity" sources...but I really think this is a case of the internet ruining a man's life.  His obsession with Jews prevents him from being a constructive member of society. sad

No, i was just sharing this with Phil because h has an almost degree in the field, and I found it interesting. the Jewish linguist 's argument seems to be mostly, "because that's why".  But I don't have a reason to believe otherwise.

Someone is a bit fascinated with that perception though. It's thoughtful and I appreciate it.

These guys are taking some great drugs. I wish I could smoke some of their stash.

Its also really weird. The Bible was written primarily during the iron age and few iron age books
are preserved, though their existence is attested.

Its obvious to a trained reader that the Septuagint is a translation from Hebrew. You can see the translation
artifacts in the reading if you know what to look for. Certain parts of it, the Apocrypha, were probably written in Greek
originally.

The longest non-biblical inscription in Hebrew is the Siloam inscription. If you don't know what it is, look it up, its
really cool.
