Every high end semiconductor manufacturer is completely dependent on rare earth minerals for which China is the ONLY volume supplier. China’s temporary hold on export restriction ends in a few weeks.
They could shut Micron, Nvidia, Intel, AMD, Samsung, NKHynix etc down, kill the entire western AI ecosystem down and crash the stock market in two weeks if Trump gets too fuqing uppity.
The Trump Admin thinks this could never happen. They’re also the same qunts who thought Iran would never close Hormuz.
