It says one very populous state but apparently the interest & readers looking are from several nearby states too, not a big deal since many states are relatively close.

It seems the site is filled with divorced ‘middle age’ 45yr + singles (both male & female) who quite bravely make intro statements with a photo or three. They all seem nice and dressed, without filters or photoshopped pics. Surprisingly on a public site. Don’t know if they are naive. Mostly innocent generic statements like “Hi everybody good morning, I live in xxxxx and looking for a nice fellow/gal for companionship and possibly more. I’m divorced and kids are grown with 2 grandkids not living with me, I’m 48 years old with my own house and I work in xxxxx. Not looking for a sugar daddy, I’m independent and employed etc etc.”

They seem refreshingly sincere and genuinely lonely hoping to make a romantic connection.

The surprisingly thing is 90% these people look really bad, worn out, sagging old faces, looking years older than their 48 or whatever years, with pasty real face pics in unforgiving sunlight showing eye bags and jowls and yellowed teeth, below average bodies. It’s fine & honest & refreshing, they definitely are not catfishing and seem nice, I hope they meet their someone.

The responses though are way overboard. Some “welcome to the group, enjoy your stay!”, but an outrageous amount of over-the-top male fawning. Like ‘You are so beautiful dream lady, please DM me’ and ‘We could be soulmates I think you look amazing’ and ‘Please let’s have coffee soon, I live not far in xxxxx and find you so very attractive’ responses from kind gonts in droves.

The woman in question is quite polite and thanks them for the compliments, wishes them a good day, but doesn’t bite any invitations. I thought it was shyness. Then one compliment showed up from a member without a photo, and instead of a thank you the (very sagged) worn woman wrote ‘where is your pic?’

TL;DR I had no idea the most average/below average aging female would receive such over-the-top praise and proposals from so many men. A woman would have her pick among many, like a princess.

Men (of similar looks/age/stage of life) absolutely did not receive the same red carpet welcome with lavish praise and proposals.

Women truly do have a dating advantage no matter the age or condition.
