You can't try them twice for the same crime - that's 'double jeopardy', prohibited by the Fifth Amendment.  You can try them for other crimes they may have committed on January 6th, or you could try them at the state (DC) level, rather than in Federal court.

Or you could do what seems to be working pretty well:  wait for them to commit new crimes.  Many of them seem to be stupid thugs with temper issues, and can't seem to stop themselves from committing crimes, despite their previous experiences with the Justice system.

Had the democrats actually spent time developing a platformb and working their job instead of having a decade long HATEGASM then you might have got him on some charges.  As it stands now, no serious person in America trusts anything the democrats have to say about anything, least of all what they say about Trump.
