Yeah, I should have been more precise - what they shut down were all the music orientated channels. In the EU, they are completely gone but I think some are still running in the US in some markets under existing contracts until they expire.
Video killed the radio star was more accurately the last song played in the primary "MTV Music" channel - I guess I never considered the "reality TV" shyt to be real MTV even if it had become most of their programming.
