The 10 year smoke (AND CO) detectors I put in 8 years ago are all getting changed out today. One detector, which activated several times during construction work, started chirping "low battery" while I was at TAHOE, so I'm replacing them ALL!
They cost LESS than they did 8 years ago, AND I got a quantity discount too! I'm replacing 10 in all.
The wife is off to lunch, so I have the house to myself.

How many of you have fire extinguishers in your homes?
Having a smoke detector is great, but it is also nice to have decent size fire extinguishers to put out small fires before they take your whole home down.

Not counting vehicles, 4 on duty at home. 5 at the ready at TAHOE.

I have three.
This was the only helpful information I ever received from Tom. I posted as a dot and tricked him into giving me advice on fire extinguishers.
