I didn't notice the smell when I stepped outside like I did yesterday, but maybe I'm more used to it. It's quite hazy, and visibility is less than 1/2 mile.

Everyone should have some decent air purifiers and at least a dozen N95 masks on hand in case of something like this.

I was out yesterday and that’s the first time I ever experienced irritation from air quality. The smoke smell was obvious but I had experienced that before. But this time my eyes were a little irritated which is not something that has happened before.

I have plenty of N95 masks. But not in my car. If I go out tomorrow and the air quality is the same, I will bring one.
