correct, they just handle everything with the server and software, only i have access to the domain registrar account

Of course i am willing to sell the domain for maybe $15,000 which would cover everything i spent on hosting it for 20+ years

Godiddy claims it is worth $1900, but in reality I bet you could get maybe $700 for it

More than that, inflation-adjusted.  Plus the opportunity cost - if you had invested that in the S&P, you'd have around $100k
