Rumor has it that QATAR FORCE ONE doesn't have the anti-missile systems of the other AF1 aircraft. Maybe there was a credible threat that Iran would try to hit AF1 with a shoulder-fired missile, like a Stinger.

Why would Iran want to kill Trump? They've never been so successful in getting what they want from any other US POTUS ever.
They probably want a Trump 3rd term.
