I keep the Uniball 207 with my checkbook, and I use it for writing checks, since it's the only pen resistant to check-washing (I've had checks stolen before).

What's so special about the Sensa pen?
The Pilot Dr Grip pen has a similar design, better ratings, a much lower price, and the refills are probably easier to get (since it's a more popular pen).

I don’t know if anything is special about them. I just like them. Feel good in the hand. The little twist top is a good fidget toy. The grip is comfy. I like them.

Sharpie pen, metal barrel. Available at the grocery store.

If you're not using a quill & inkwell you might as well write with a pen chained to the desk at the DMV.

And don't forget to have your wax seal handy for important documents.

Pentel RSVP - fine point. It's a plastic pen, with a thicker barrel than the cheap stick pens, a rubber grip where you hold the pen, and has decent snap in place cap. Decent ink flow, without all the drag of your typical ball point pen.

Phillip_McCavityCan you think of a nice online site to buy pens?

I hate cap-based pens, especially for daily use.
1) In a busy work environment, the caps often get lost, and now you have a capless pen, with the ink drying out, and now it's also prone to accidentally mark up a white dress shirt.
2) In a busy work environment, you often have stuff in one hand, and it requires two hands to remove the cap, and stick it on the other side.
For daily general use, I'd rather use a clickable-retractable pen, like the Zebra Z-Grip pen.
