Why would you retire rather than just white knuckle it for as long as possible and take a big juicy buyout?

Whoever wrote this doesn't know how shyt works.

AU3 is likely working at a greenhouse, under plastic sheeting, in Pierson.

Re: In Tech? Time to retire.

I retired at 55.
Left at my peak right at the completion of a major project.
Left behind extensive notes on the next steps.

Three weeks later they had me back in for 2 weeks (at my very high price) to do the work.

lol

Never looked back since

At 55 today?  You're likely tossed out on your ass & are forced into retirement.

No
It was at 55, seven years ago.
Just before covid struck.
My choice. And a great choice.

Which is great.  Good for you.
Problem is, many have no choice & find themselves out on their ass at 55.

People discard at age 55 probably never had any talent or work ethic to begin with but lasted that long by hiding in the “team” crowd.

You'll be 55 soon enough, Pillowbiter.

Enter "Pierson Municipal Airport" into you favorite map application & look around.   All those areas that look like solar panels aren't solar.  They're makeshift greenhouse areas to grow greens & plants.

If you're looking to hide a vax-riddled carcass, Pierson is for yuo.

Everyone saying this is a barista and is jelly because they never once had a talent or a good job and are jealous of everyone like myself, Heekee, and Spanky who have made $100K+ for decades working in software.
