dog is 17 and can barely walk. seems confused a lot too. don't know how i'll survive without him after all this time.

former mentor/friend only replies to messages about 50% of the time. taught me a ton about management and stock market, but apparently has fallen on financial and health difficulties. haven't met in person in probably 10 years.

dad is the toughest with alzheimer's. try to get over there when i can, but what's the point really? he can't remember something said 1 minute before. which makes the texts saying i should come over more often all the more heart breaking. it's not end stage or anything, but just a shell of a man, both mental and physical. 

what's even the point of life?
