Do the best of both worlds.

Get a Harvard online certificate in computer science.

It's a legit Harvard bullet point on your resume, that is online verifiable.

A hiring committee might not be impressed by a "certificate" awarded by taking online multiple choice quizzes.

There's a certain class of VC/startup that wants the Ivy League degree or at least a degree from a Top 30 Computer Science program.  Same with a lot of big companies.

Consider two candidates, who both have non-tech degrees, and are both applying for a institutional sales job at an AI company.

- Candidate A: Has nothing on their resume indicating that they know anything about AI.

- Candidate B: Has a bullet point that says "Harvard University - Computer Science for Artificial Intelligence - Professional Certificate".

Candidate "B" has the advantage.

Especially since in the real world of 2nd round interviews, many interviewers will rush into a room, quickly speed read through a resume (especially the words on the left side of the resume), and could easily mistake the Harvard bullet point for being an actual degree, especially if it's squeezed in between other impressive credentials.
