Are you 100 percent sure?  Check the Keychain & see if you did leave logins in easy reach.

Re: Anthropic is so gay

Ahem:

Yes — **iCloud Keychain** syncs your passwords, passkeys, Wi-Fi passwords, credit card numbers, and other credentials across all your Apple devices (Mac, iPhone, iPad) signed into the same Apple ID, as long as iCloud Keychain is enabled on each device.

A few nuances worth knowing:

- **It's opt-in.** You have to enable it in Settings/System Settings under your Apple ID → iCloud → Passwords and Keychain (or similar, depending on OS version).
- **It's end-to-end encrypted.** Apple can't read the contents; only your trusted devices can decrypt it.
- **It's not instant, but fast.** Changes propagate within seconds to minutes when devices are online.
- **"Local" keychains exist too.** Some items are stored only in your local Keychain and never sync — particularly things created by apps that explicitly opt out of iCloud sync, or items in certain system-level keychain slots.
- **Safari passwords vs. third-party apps.** Safari credentials sync reliably. Third-party apps can also use iCloud Keychain if they're written to support it, but not all do.

So if you save a Wi-Fi password or website login on your iPhone, it should show up on your Mac fairly quickly — assuming both have iCloud Keychain turned on.
