Windows laptops are stupid overpriced with crap hardware these days (especially stuff like webcams, which matter now that everybody is remote). MacOS is weird, but Apple is killing it. Compare a $600 Macbook Neo with any crappy Dell or HP.

Windows can run for 10 years on the same hardware. Much lower cost of ownership.
