First cable modem I had was from RCN in 1999, and it cost just $40/month

I wouldn't be surprised if their network is a 5g hub with light pipe to local areas for show. But speed is speed if it actually delivers.

The competition is just a 5g box with local wifi with lower upload speeds.

Either way I have to give up the copper connection, which used to to be the speed advantage
