Certain Tech employers have made quite a fuss on how they love autistc software engineers.

The credit is due entirely to the hardware and chip designers. Neural networks have been researched for decades but were never deployed at the scale required for LLMs and deep learning until the last several years.

Are you sure? I think a LLM would run just fine on a laptop. Somebody must have just figured out how to do it, that's all. I can't believe that the only ingredient missing was the parallel processing.

That said, whoever invented it must have shyt their pants when they saw it started working
