Why would you possibly believe a 4.6 on a $1.00 item on AliExpress means you are getting a better product than a 4.3 product on Amazon?

Sometimes the $1 item works great.

For example, I've tried out a variety of reading glasses, some cheap, some expensive.

It turns out the ones I use the most are the $1 reading glasses I got at Dollar Tree.

These are two separate events & issues. 

1) If you can still find a wired PC headset with boom microphone on Amazon.com that meets my original critieria, then I'm still interested.

2) The Death2me / AliExpress $1 headset was an unexpected sideshow.  I did it because it was basically free, it had great ratings (4.6/5, 200+ reviews), and I've never bought anything from websites like Temu.com or AliExpress.  So why not try it out, for fun?
