A BEAUTIFUL SATURDAY MORNING IN BOISELAND!!!!!

The sun is out, and the plantation beckons!   This morning, I took my seedlings outside and fed them some Miracle-Gro water to get 'em tough for the great outdoors!

This morning, I plan for lettuce in the lettuce bed, celery in the celery bed and the artichoke in the last remaining artichoke pot.  NOW it's up to 65, so outdoors is fun.

Has anybody else noticed that seedlings have shot up in price this year?

I may do more seed sprouting in the future.   Maybe the greedy corporate cable TV landlords have squeezed all they can from FLORIDA AU #86 and have moved to Idaho?  A new disguise?

And you too.   There is a cat flag in our front yard, with the cat in a flag themed shawl (not burka).    flag

The artichoke is now in it's pot and very happy.   SIX celery seedlings are now in ground, and for all the plants today I'm working the "rice trick".

The lettuce bed has now been prepared, and 2 romaine seedlings are happily getting used to their new home.   Until it gets too hot, at which time the lettuce and radish beds start growing peppers (or melons).

End of day.   The plantation is looking REALLY good, and I'm ready to plant cucumbers and tomatoes tomorrow.   It's a lot of work, and worth it.  happy
