Nobody is trying to get into leading edge fabs except SpaceX.  They will certainly have a hard time.  It will be fun to watch.  They are going to have to spend a huge amount of money to get talent to jump over for that, plus probably $30 billion for the first fab.

Amazon, Google, and Apple are all still 100% dependent on their outsourcing to a single Taiwanese fab and if the Chinese decide to blow them up or not.
