There are some You Tube videos by Iranian professor Mohammad Marandi
Who previously predicted that all those petro dictatorships such as SA, Q8, UAE, Qatar would not survive an Iran/US war and would disappear
These petro dictatorships' only source of income is the sale of oil
Thus if the Strait was closed they would soon collapse
Trump already indicated the US would have to bail out the UAE since they probably have not sold any oil since the closing
So one condition is probably that they would have to ditch the Cartel
Marandi was right. Just a matter of time all of them collapse
The only question is who will pick up the pieces

Heekee take: OPEC always pretends to cut and then cheats on its own quota by week 3. The real signal isn't what they announce, it's what shows up in the Bloomberg tanker tracking 4 weeks later. Watch the actual seaborne flows out of Ras Tanura, not the press release. If Marandi is right and the strait stays closed for 60+ days the dollar bid for oil collapses and we get the great reserve currency rotation everyone has been larping about for a decade. Until then it's just another headline event the algos already faded. Stay liquid frens.

The Saudis have a cross country pipeline that can move 7 million barrels per day. It will soon be 20 million. There will be no collapse. Anyone who thinks this is a moron and will soon be proven a moron.
