Well, I AM celebrating this spring.   If you recall, last year posed a challenge or two.  For one thing, I had a STRICT lifting limit of 15 pounds.   That was a pain in the ass, but easier than splitting wide open.   (When the Dr.'s here tell you to do something, they MEAN IT). 

   The early fake spring got me going early.   Using 7 springs worth of experience in this new (to me) planting environment is making me more skilled and confident in my (our) abilities.   

I am already delighted with my progress this year and look forward to a fun summer.   Maybe in 2027 I'll be able to resume camping. 

If DB actually visits this summer, I'll save him a jar of pickles if he would like.

Thanks for the kind comments POF.   Unfortunately, as long as the mod has any authoritative presence here - ever - there will be NO more pictures posted here by me.   I've had enough of him turning my photos into his brand of filth.   He cries like a child, but I see NO reason to feed his gluttonous need to abuse me.   Period.

This week promises to be an easy week.  A couple of grooming appointments and a friend visit.   Warming weather will undoubtedly motivate me to get more done on the plantation and make it prettier.   One good goal is some family coming to visit for the Holiday, and I like to impress what "we bumpkins" do in the garden.   

I don't know if you caught this, but the founders of our country - you and I would call them farmers - used to be known for plantings and were thus called "PLANTERS".    SO, in honour of our 250th birthday, our backyard mini farm is now OUR PLANTATION! 

And if somebody has a problem with that, THEY have a problem which does not affect me in the slightest.
