anon user #3No i was not aware before I was hired as I basically helped open the store, i want to bring attention to how grimey the people enforcing this are. The service charge is not a tip. The server is now a commission based sales worker. The service charge goes to the other weight staff, including back of house workers. The company is implementing the service charge to help pay the wages of all of the employees instead of paying all of their employees, a fair wage, and letting the servers in bartenders be tipped employees.

anon user #3yes, but I would add that another thing that the service charge brings is that there is more help including server assistance and food runners which means they have less servers working, the service charge goes to those that help the servers, and then they cut the remaining servers hours down to the minimum as well so instead of having 8 servers working on an evening, they bring it down to 3 servers working an evening and the people who would be servers and splitting the 20% and working as assistants, or food runners, which in turn makes them partially tipped employees, only needing to be paid 10.98 an hour

Liveable wage?
Let’s say $30 an hour and a share in all staff tips*
* which would be a lot less than currently, basically loose change and round ups.

How much air EXACTLY do you need to breathe in the next two hours to be able to survive? Don't know?!! Then you deserve nothing and should suffocate and die, right?
