So I'm hearing gasoline prices will be at least double in April or May
and I'm saying no way. If the price of gas goes from $3.69 to $8.00 in the next six weeks, well, we are in for a horrible ride as a country.
Stock up, fuel up.
(I'm hearing this from a very close person who has lots of sources)

I'd wager very few DU'ers have forgotten that a massive spike in crude prices immediately preceded the 2008 crash

Not sure how certainly that rise in crude cost is rightly called "causal" to the crash, but it sure as shyt didn't help.
And we also have another massive bubble in play RN, I'm sure I don't need to remind anyone here what that is
