Love the Rubio kid’s story. He was kinda good at a lot of sports in high school (baseball, track, football) but was tiny. Got passed over by the top football schools, but was offered spots on smaller/weaker college teams, guaranteed to be on the field/allowed to play. He said no, would take his chances as a walk-on at his dream school Florida. As a tiny manlet walk-on he miraculously got on, but got put on the lowly “scout” team, not likely to get to play in a real game. He gained 20 lbs of muscle and was still very very fast. They let him play & scored a touchdown to win a game. 3 weeks later his dad was Secretary of State.
Kid still has 2+ years of college football then intends to go to law school.
