No kidding! What caused the enormous black hole of his ego and his overarching, constant need to fill it with ANYTHING having to do with himself? Tom takes the smallest most insignificant activity, baking cookies, going to the home improvement store, feeding the cat, and then pretends that thing has some kind of transcendent meaning, that it is (1) interesting and/or (2) indicates how smart he is, how savvy he is, how wealthy he is. Then, when that little rush fails, he lies, and lies extravagantly, no matter how easily disproved, no matter how foolish he looks doing that. Fuq Tom, you would be one pathetic little man, if you were not so hateful and stupid. But because you are, you're just a nagging, little annoyance that cancer will soon cure.
