The wife went out on a mission, so I had some time at home.  ALMOST 40 degrees, so I worked on our SPECIAL raised tomato bed. 

Out with last year's (extremely successful) tomato plant (now long dead, for you non gardeners).  Loosened up the soil, added a bunch of shredded paper (which softens into worm food they love), then a nice layer of our home made, aged compost, then finished with a top layer of shredded maple leaf mulch(also home made). 

Give that a few winter months, and it will be the rich soil that grows champion tomatoes in the spring!

Such a dull life, with little crime, no street degenerates and no drugs for sale on every corner - like some cities AND BOGGED VILLAGES!!
