I thought the question was interesting. Some of the answers were dumb.

I actually found found the part about the debt interesting more than the part about the belongings.

If you have any unsecured debt then you might end up not having any negative consequences if your sentence is long enough. Most states time bar in five years. And it drops off your credit report after seven.

So if you do 10 years then you actually have clean credit. And you can’t get dunning calls in prison.
