Osteomyelitis (sp?) usually requires IV antibiotics. Bone infections are really slow to clear.

I was discharged from the Hospital on FRIDAY.   What started as a hurting wrist (who would have thought THAT?) which took me to the Urgent clinic, wound up with me in the emergency room triage section for about 12 hours!   Not fun:   Test, test, test!  Then to an ER treatment room, just to rest, THEN to a regular room.

It turned out that one of my joints became infected with something - and nobody knows how a bug got in THERE!  After all that, I have some medicine and am back home.   BUT doing without one hand is a pain in the ass!
