Widely described as “the most important architect of our age,” Gehry reshaped contemporary design through a career spanning more than six decades. "He was probably the only truly great artist I've ever encountered who desperately cared what people thought of him and that people loved his work," says Gehry's biographer Paul Goldberger. The architect got his share of criticism — "accusations that he made crazy shapes and paid no attention to budget." But the praise was louder, because his striking buildings made people happy.

one thing i notice about all these articles about this guy is that they don't really show pictures of his buildings
just a lot of talk about how great he is supposed to have been
never heard of him

His theory was chaos. Throw a bunch of ideas in the air, pretend the chaotic trash heap is edgy & brilliant.

What a bunch of unlivable art builds. The funniest part of his designs\s all these odd shapes and sweeping lines, and then plain rooms with square windows, all of it costing a fortune to maintain.
