I absolutely speak German at a B1/2 level.  I used a German-to-english dictionary for "fool" ("Narr"), as I didn't want to be obvious and write "dummpkopf" (which is the only word I know off the top of my head for "idiot"), and I didn't know the word for "obsessed" (which I misspelled).  The fact that there are misspellings and some minor grammatical errors lend credence to my ability, as it would be perfect otherwise (particularly the spelling).  I suppose GPT told me what "Oma" was as well, or did I just guess that it was German?

I also speak Japanese at around N3, and have won a national Latin competition.  Because of my education in Latin, I understand a lot of just about any Romance language (except French) and can usually get the gist of anything written in them (but I wouldn't claim to speak any of them).

I constantly amaze you with my intellect and education - you are always accusing me of using GPT because you can't fathom that someone is actually as bright as I am.  Remember when you told me how my vocabulary impressed you?  How you hoped I'd stick around?  I think you were about to offer to suck my dick before you realized who you were conversing with.

It was imperfect because I'm not a native speaker nor fluent in German, but I have absolutely studied it and can absolutely converse in it.  Do you know what B1/2 means?  I suppose I just guessed that "Oma" was a German word?
