As my mom has aged she's practically become a stalker. I will answer a couple times a month to appease her and luckily I have siblings carry most of the brunt. Talking with her is insufferable. She's really into gossip - which I am not.

My mom is such a hypocrite.
When I was a kid I remember her bitching that all my grandma (her mom) ever did was call her to complain about her health.
Now all my mom does is call and complain about her health.
I try to limit the calls to 2-3x a year if I can.
