Today, Max Verstappen started in the pit lane in 19th place and came back to finish third - one more lap and he would have finished second.

Lando Norris won and seems like he is locking in on the driver’s championship. Bar mechanical failure or a shunt he should win.

I’d say it’s a competition.

Well, it's an in-between thing.  Chess is a game.  Track and field is a sport.  I suppose there are serious physical aspects to that level of driving, but not the same as football, hockey, soccer, or basketball.  I wonder if there is a smart opinion of what the true sports are vs true games and the % breakdown of sport/game for in-between ones like driving (60/40?), golf (40/60?), and if we are being serious, baseball (80/20?).

I was mostly just giving OLG shyt.

Keep in mind I am very much like John Lennon in the sense that half of what I say is meaningless.

I went to bed wondering things along the same lines. Does a game become a sport when serious competition is involved? Does a sport become a game when it’s friendly and not competitive? I feel like golf is sometimes more game than sport in that sense.
