Tom Leykis... so I re-secured some of the structure with bolts and new screws. Not a bad start.
This morning, the OTHER 1/2 of the gate had fallen apart! Up to the hardware store, back to the gate and now the whole thing is better than new. It looks like a Fortress gate! I may have to scrape, prime and paint it now.
The irrigation water got turned on today as well. Time to trim up the drip systems and get to planting!

What an idiot. Wasting effort on a 45yo wooden gate. Just replace it. Or better yet. Show us you are skilled and build a new one from scratch.
I can’t imagine the state of disrepair that place is in.

Tom LeykisGetting ready for growing, one of my raised beds needed a bit of repair. There were only 2 screws holding a board, and they needed replacement. Time to plant the corn!

Rotting pine boards and shoddy construction.
