Well, yeah.  My poor critics should get a paper route or something.  I would say, "If you've dug yourself into poverty, stop digging".   Hopefully I can spread some weekend joy, and do remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 

Some people here just prefer to wallow in poverty and misery, then blame others for it.

A very pleasant evening tonight, as the sun set WAY to the north, as it does this time of year.  The report says we might get a sprinkle tonight, and nothing wrong with that.  The rib eye turned out JUST FABULOUS for us to enjoy on the deck.   The house is nice and cool for a good night's sleep!   I did get all the batteries I will need for our upcoming Tahoe trip.  The last time  we were there, Tahoe Valley SOLD OUT of batteries!  I need to make sure that each and every device there functions correctly for guest safety and comfort. 

I made some cinnamon crunch muffins today, which should make for a delicious start to Saturday.  Vanilla coffee, freshly ground from beans in the morning.  A little cocoa in the filter should make for a nice morning flavour.   Then, puttering in the garden, making it more park like every day. 

For tomorrow's breakfast, what will it be?  Patty sausage?  Fresh local link sausage?  Genuine Virginia bacon from Virginia?  No need to answer - that question is for my wife.

On a serious note, what temperature do you like the house to be for sleeping?

I’d sleep best in the 50s indoor temp. Wife would never allow that. Happy if I can wrestle it down to 66.

On a serious note, today looks like another glorious day, currently in he 50s outside and our preferred temperature inside.  Upper 70s outside this afternoon.  It looks like we will enjoy our Hot Tub this morning, which gives us a nice view of the birds at the feeders. 

The coffee is delicious.
