Using the right pronouns is a really simple way to affirm someone’s identity. It is a signal of acceptance and respect

Being an American means being forced to signal some pretense of "respect" for mental illness and degeneracy.

lol

A newly-released Navy training video teaches sailors to use the “right” pronouns, “show that we’re allies,” and create “a safe space for everybody,” while instructing service members on how to proceed after having “misgendered” someone.

Let's assume you were assigned the male sex at birth and your gender identity as a man . . . .

How would you feel if everybody thought you were a female, called you she / her, and refused to call you he / him even after you told them you were a man?

What if they made you use the woman's bathroom and locker room ?

I had a very feminine / un-masculine voice unitil I was in my 20's.  People would always refer to me as "M'mam" on the phone.  I could have cared less.  you know why  ?? ..... I don't have a mental illness.

Speaking from experience (I had a trans professor at University) it makes things far easier if the person in question makes it clear which pronouns to use.  If they give you this information you ought to be thankful for it.  This is even more of an issue with online courses where you never actually see even a photo of them and when they have a doctorate (so no Mr or Mrs).  The pronouns really help!!

Well they were just an adjunct professor so they probably got only $3,000 or so for teaching the course.  The pay for adjuncts is surprisingly low.

Disgusting that you would try to explain away something like this.

You probably cheered Caitlyn Jenner when she won Woman of the Year.

You are going out of your way to hate here.  They don't typically reserve teaching positions based on gender.

Low effort.

It's obvious to everyone but you that a person who thought I was a female would be nuts.

Have you been up all night or something, brian?

So you are trying to claim that no attention or effort is made to get women into paid university teaching positions? That everyone would just be happy if all positions just happened to be filled by men?

Born with a dick? You are he/him.
Born with a poon? You are she/her.

If you feel otherwise you are mentally ill and deserve to be in an asylum.

I agree with the OP. And the right pronouns match a person or groups gender and plurality - his, her, their. There are no more genders or numbers than thousands of years ago so no new pronouns are required.
