Unions extract ridiculously high pay for a few decades.

Then big business figures away around them.  Offshoring, technology, etc.

Like how a lot of manufacturing has been offshored.

Eventually, Carnegie Hall shows will be setup via robots, or the shows will be done via virtual reality programming.
