Police responded to reports of a stabbing at about 4:15 p.m. near Mason and Jackson streets in Chinatown, said Lt. Troy Dangerfield, a police spokesman.
Officers followed a trail of blood from near the crime scene to Himmelmann Place, where they arrested a 37-year-old male suspect, Dangerfield said.

I like all the retro technology they use in S.F. That could have been a headline in 1910.

Guess the race. The trash I've been seeing on the Muni trains lately suck.

Tom LeykisThis makes me angry. Very angry. San Francisco's Cable Car conductors are THE embassadors of civic goodwill. To hurt one, is crossing WAY over the line. It's time to move ALL the bums out, NOW. Salinas, to pick lettuce. To mental hospitals, if that's what's needed. To prison, for the criminals. Home, for the remainder. But they have ALL got to go.

How much does downtown parking for the day cost now? You're firstborn child?

All the crazy Reagan homeless look like this guy downtown.

You will also notice that I posted the same comment - word for word - on page 4 of the comments on that article. We need to move the bums out, and fine anybody that gives money to them.
It's already illegal to feed rats, mice, pigeons and other vermin. It IS illegal to feed human vermin, but the law is not enforced....

The_Terrible_DotI have to hand it to the SF homeless guys. I have never seen such industrious and ingenious bums in all my life. They move about town with these mobile cardboard homes stuffed into their shopping carts, sometimes two per bum and then at 6:30 or so it's like Tinkerbell waved her magic wand and presto! every big lavish bank entryway has an elaborate cardboard mansion erected in it with bums sleeping inside.
I've never seen anything like it and Vancouver has swarms of crystal meth addicts downtown that are really aggressively in your face.
You people in SF have a seriously superior grade of bums down there.

We tried to feed them under the Bush regime. They took our money away. Reagan is a qunt for releasing too many mentally ill people onto our streets.

Of course there was more to it than Reagan; Ken Kesey's One Flew Over The Cuckoo's nest both book and movie had a serious influence on the policy deinstitutionalizing the mentally ill.

Original_Lonely_GuySan Francisco is a wonderful place to live. It's a beautiful area, the weather can be very nice (74 degrees today), great food, and we have the sense and dignity to vote for Nancy Pelosi.
No wonder hillbilly teabaggers come here for vacation.

Tom LeykisActually, it was Brown's DAD, Edmund G. Brown, that let the nuts loose, but the TIMING of it made Reagan LOOK like he did it. The Govenor-elect is going to swirl the State of California, down the drain - AGAIN!
But this time, he doesn't get to inject Linda Rondstat with his semen.
Things are different, THIS time. This time WER'E ALL going to get fuqed!
