Every year, I have to sit on my couch with a shredder, and spend an hour shredding documents, letters & receipts.

I figure it would be more efficient to use some industrial shredding service. Like I show up with a box of papers, throw it into their monster shredding machine, and pay them some money.

But how much does it cost? Anyone ever do this?

I live in an apartment.

No fireplace.

I just called a local shredding facility.

Costs $12 per letterbox, if I drop it off myself.

Pretty reasonable.
